Who is the program offered to?
Individual patients that require additional support through learning to lip read, using conversational cues, proper locations in a room for optimal listening performance, aural rehab applications (HW), and general practice adjusting to hearing devices.
What is included in the program?
- 5 Lip reading sessions (45 minutes each)
- 5 Homework assignments
- Tips & techniques for better listening habits
- Counseling for patient and family regarding the best approaches for communicating with the hearing impaired
- Pre & Post intervention inventory
